Because you're worth it ?

The last two years and more spent under the FFRR replacing worn out and rusty bits resulted in a clear run MOT today (yay!!)

Have now owned it for half its life, it is now 12 and a bit, we have the tricky teenage years ahead together! (unless Gaz finds me a spot on red/ivory SC Whistle )

I now await the demise of the steering rack, alternator, front diff (its getting noisy) wheel bearings, rear air bags, and possibly gearbox number 2.

Oh the joys Very Happy .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Good luck.
The only consolation is the remember what people with brand new, needs no maintenance, new cars are paying in annual depreciation.

It has been MOT time for my "fleet":

1990 MX5 (127K km) clear pass (most reliable vehicle I have ever owned)
2004 Audi 3.0 Cab (97k) clear pass (best looking cabriolet ever, goes like stink)
Kids cars:
2000 Ford Ka (100k) clear pass
2005 Ford Ka (100k) eventual pass (broken washer bottle and passenger door not openable from outside!) - repaired these from "donor Ka" and passed next day

So pretty chuffed all round

This is why I can't afford a newer FFRR Laughing

Still plenty to do on all of them Wink .

You better disable this now then, I have, done it with the iid tool even though for the last 9 months the steering rack has been fine and dandy working as it should, I just dont trust it Laughing If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!
