For very reluctant sale, my 2010 vogue SE.

This has been my baby but now due to the arrival of another baby and the need for 7 seats it has to go.

so spec:

Vogue SE TDV8 2010, first registered 27/04/2010
full Statstone service history( just had major service last week)
64k miles
MOT'd till 15th May 2015
Santorini Black, full colour coding carried out by Revere London, to include door handles, windscreen pillars, rear quarter pillars and wing mirrors, top and bottom sections.
Optional rear seat entertainment with DVD changer in BOOT and 2 pairs of headphones.
DUEL View front screen
Heated/ventilated front seats
heated steering wheel and rear seats
extended piano black interior trim
Fully black interior including headlining
22" Revere Alloy wheels with recent tyres all round
Westfalia detachable tow bar. (never used to tow, just bike rack)
Tinted windows all round
Land Rover Exterior Design Pack. Front and rear bumpers and side skirts.
Just had discs and pads fitted all round.
Remote Parking Heater
Adaptive cruise control
Adaptive Zenon headlights with cornering lights
DAB radio with cd changer
Full touch screen Satellite Navigation
Red Brake Callipers

I am pretty sure I have missed loads of info off but to be honest, if you are interested, then please come and view to appreciate what a lovely example this is, it has been pampered by me and I have spent a small fortune on it.

So to sum up a great car with no money to be spent until the MOT is due again in over 12 months.

£28500 priced to sell, as it is currently SORN and not in use.

It does have outstanding finance which would need to be settled by the buyer directly.

Any questions please ask.

Thanks for reading and i m sure I will be back in the future.

Thanks Stan.

I have to admit it is a very very reluctant sale and I do keep trying to justify keeping it(mainly to the wife) but needs must.

I will be back one day, as there isn't anything to touch the FFRR once you've owned one.

Kev

Its exactly what I am looking for Kev but just £2k outside of my budget Crying or Very sad . My 911 goes on the 22nd.

I have been offered a (January 2010) 59 plate black Vogue SE with ivory interior, 62k miles by a (friendly...) LR main dealer for £25.5k with their warranty etc which at the moment is looking favourite. That is on at £29.5k but they have said if it is still there on the the 22nd I can have it for £25.5k which sounds like a deal to me.

You say that there is outstanding finance that will need to be settled direct. How much? Obviously this should be reflected in the price.

In the past I have always taken that as part of the sale agreement, £X's to be paid to the finance company, Balance to the seller. Receipt reflects that agreement.

Must admit I haven't bought a car with outstanding finance on it in a few years, things may have changed.

Hi mike

I'm not sure I understand what you mean reflected in the price?

If someone wants to buy the car they pay the monies directly to the finance company and if there is any over and above that then it gets paid to me.

I have done this twice previously and both times the buyer has paid over the phone, via debit card, from my house. Then drove away. To be honest I find this safer than someone coming to my house with £30k in cash like someone wanted to do recently, sounded dodgy hence the reason it's still for sale.

You explanation of the deal is spot on, I should have read before I posted.

I wish I could drop my price but to be honest £28k would be the bottom, as that is what is outstanding on the finance. Any lower and I would have to make up the difference. I wouldn't need to do this as it's a regulated agreement and I am at the point where I can just hand it back, which is what I will be doing if it doesn't sell before the end of the month.

Just regards the car you have been offered is the spec comparable? Does it have rear entertainment, exterior design pack, 22" wheels, westfalia detachable tow bar? Also being a '59' I'm pretty sure it won't have duel view front screen?
The reason I ask is I will be listing on autotrader tomorrow and just wondering what sort of price to ask and if I should even bother wasting the money?

Thanks

Kev

Hi Kev,

The one I am looking at has RSE but not the design pack. It is very standard with tints, surround cameras, dual view, standard detachable tow bar, 20" V style alloys with new tyres, 1 owner etc FLRSH (and 2 years LR warranty negotiated). I don't want to put a link on here in case anyone tries to snap it up before I can...!

I have kept a very close eye on the market over the past 3 months and have followed a few cars I would have wanted (black, MY10, Dual View, RSE) and below 70k. Mid 20's does seem about average, I went to view 2 private ones locally to get a feel for a FFRR and they were both up around £30k, following up on them they both went for under £26k (both were on Autotrader)

I am not sure what the extras yours have would be valued at; for those who like it (like me) I guess a premium, to those who prefer a standard looking car then it will turn them off it with it being 'modified' in their eyes. Black on black on black is an acquired taste to some and later (post 2008) RR's do appear to sell better when totally original, but you will find the right buyer and it will go I am sure.

Good luck with the sale, a great looking car.

Thanks Miles

Looks like i will probably be better off just handing it back, just seems a shame, having just spent a small fortune on servicing, brakes, tyres, mot etc which wont be appreciated by a finance company.

Good luck with the purchase fingers crossed its still there.

cheers

Kev
