resevoir pressure static when reservoir is inactive

got the dreaded suspension inactive message today so took the car to the local diagnostics center and they came up with this message,"resevoir pressure static when reservoir is inactive", what does it mean exactly and whats the cure, they tried to reset it but it didn't want to know, now it just stays at ride height Sad 2002 td6 vogue, 06 supercharged facelift

The pressure sensor in the reservoir could have failed. It could also be a worn pump.

What the message means is:

Whilst the pump is running, the pressure hasn't increased in the reservoir. OR corners go up, using reservoir air, yet the pressure doesnt drop as expected.
