New project.

Been a member just for a week, but been browsing on here for the last couple of years. Have a P38 so member of rangerovers.net. Also currently restoring a Series IIA and a member of the S2C club. Love working with Land Rovers and all their ills Rolling Eyes Must be some form of addiction.
Here is my latest project.





Its a 2004 HSE, just done 120,000 miles. Paint work is in good condition with the odd scratch, colour is Giverny Green. The interior is Aspen/Ivory, but needs a very good clean.
It has been stood since 8 August 2012 when the engine gave up.
Has a blown engine, but I have a complete engine with all ancillaries in the back of the P38 out of a 2005 TD6 with less than 15,000 miles done.
That's my job in the next month or so, between a caravan holiday down Cornwall and various other jobs on the go.
Will have lots of questions later.

New guy on the block. I came across this site by doing research on the good old "Reduced Engine Performance" error. So I figured why not join! I had a 2006 RR HSE until a untimely meeting with ice and a light pole this pass January. I had to replace her with a 2008 SC RR. She is pretty but has been in my pockets a few times since we started this abusive relationship. lol. Nice to meet you and look forward to learning more about my abusive spouse and you guys.

I too like white Land Rovers (show up mud better) but would have to disagree about wheels. Get some 19" stick some all terrains on there and get some mud on it!

2007 black vogue se tdv8. A few little bits to sort on it. A couple of bumper scuffs which I'm hoping chips away or similar can sort and an odd patch of what looked like light scratches about the size of my hand on the drivers side of the screen which I'm guessing are from the wipers although I'm not certain. Didn't affect the vision but hoping to god it polishes out as I don't fancy the cost of replacing. Any suggestions on a glass repair company appreciated Smile

It looked great, a few little scratches here and there but nothing you wouldn't expect for the age. The only thing concerning me is the windscreen. Never seen a patch like it most odd. But hopefully it can be polished out.

Bit worried as I know sod all about cars, but it had a main dealer service and mot in the last couple of months so fingers crossed :nervous:
