If police related seizure it would have been under the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA).

In my previous employment a Mitsubishi Evo & Landcruiser Colorado were used as police vehicles after POCA seizure -

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

As an off the cuff type statement, I can't see it being any more risky than buying any car from a private seller, or even some traders........

Price seems good. Could always spend some of the saving on an inspection...... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

In my eyes a finance repo usually means they couldn't afford it for a good while and if they couldn't afford the payment on the car would they likely have serviced it?

Just my thoughts mind.. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Buyer Beware - There is no mention of police repossessions. Repossessions can mean anything ! Note carefully that they are not offering any form of guarantee or comeback - they say its a trade sale with all faults accepted and that's what you will sign. You buy what you see.
I suggest that you check out any car from them with the various agencies such as HPI etc. Take somebody with you who is knowledgeable with regard to crash damage and mechanics and insist on a road test of at least 30 minutes before paying anything.
As regards their ebay feedback you will see that there are a large number of feedbacks such as 'car collected'. They may try to get access to your ebay account on pretence of verifying who you are and whilst still logged on they may complete your feedback to them thus preventing any adverse feedback. Don't be hassled into anything you are not sure about - if in doubt walk away.
I say again - Buyer Beware ! Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation

2016 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey

This has been listed for a couple of months now, and originally the listing did say it was a finance repo. Given the price puts it firmly in amongst the 150k mile ones of the same age, the fact it hasn't sold is telling. I did think about going to see it on the search for mine but decided not to.

Interestingly enough the plate is worth a fair bit as well, but think its already come off as the original listing said the seller was waiting for the V5 after the plate transfer. Current Fleet:-
2018 Discovery 5 3.0 HSE
2021 Ford Ranger Wildtrack
2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt 5.0 V8
1993 Defender 90 200TDI Pickup

Gone - not forgotten
2016 L405 4.4 SDV8 Vogue SE
2012 L322 4.4 Westminster
2004 L322 4.4 V8 Autobiography LE
2000 P38 RR 4.0 HSE (ex Clarkson test car)

I actually think that not offering a warrantee as a trader is against the law.

All I say is just look at what you are signing and protect your ebay identity as regards feedback. Do not use their computer to do anything. Do not pay anything until you are 100% sure about what you are buying and have had a test drive.
