That eBay Seller is Bolt on Bits, I have bought stuff from them in the past for the Defender and the RR. Some has been fine, other bits have been rubbish and I sent some stuff back.

It doesn't mention any brand for those blades, so when someone gets them on and can inspect them properly, let us all know.

A genuine set of wipers will cost the same amount or less, I bought some Bosch 808s recently and my wipers are totally silent. The thud effect comes from badly adjusted spindles and the angle the wiper arm needs to be, not just from a worn blade. Discovery 4 HSE

I fitted mine on Saturday and used them this morning to clear overnight rain and for light drizzle driving to work at various speeds upto 70mph. The blades cleared the screen well with no traces and no judder, squeak or clonking with little or no water unlike my old Bosch blades which I fitted new in January after I got the FF. I tried adjusting as per threads but only ever ok with lots of water on the screen.

Pics of blades as fitted to my FF as requested.

Windscreen wipers look good in those pics.

Stan,

On my FF they are better than the Bosch I previously fitted and cleared the water well this morning on my way to work. The fit is nice and tight and I also prefer the look of the flat blades and have had them on all my cars for years. My FFRR is 8 1/2 years old with 96K miles so wiper fitting may have worn which may account for problems with OEM style blades as so many parts move, these flat blades are much simpler and cleaner looking.

Based on the limited usage today I am happy with the look and performance and for less than £30 would recommend at this point in time. I cannot say how they will last or work on anyone else's FF but I am happy with mine.

I don't think that they are branded and arrived just wrapped in plain corrugated cardboard but I will check when I can to see if I can find a branding. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Just been outside to check and there is no obvious branding on the wipers. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t
