I own a 2013 Range rover which i have bought from USA and i have shipped it to QATAR. does any one know how i can change the regional setting o the radio so i can pick up even number frequencies.
at the moment the frequencies are : 90.7 to 90.9. i would like to get 90.8

please let me know

i suspect you would have to replace the tuner with an european one to get the even numbers.. ... - .- -.

On RR sport 2012 it was a matter of changing the market code from usa to ec or jpn and so on . Why cant we do same here.

i'd have a word with a dealer and ask if this code change is possible, i'm sure you're not the first to import a car in this situation.. ... - .- -.

USA spec and European spec radio FM tuners are different. I recall this in the days when the Nakamichi TD1200 was only available with a USA spec tuner. Fine if you give it a strong signal and it's on a frequency you can select but generally speaking a US tuner outside of the USA is about as much use as tits on a bull. It has to be changed for a regionally correct one.

Thank you for the reply. Just for the sake of discussion this was not the case with bmw. I had 2011 x6 imported from usa and i have found a person that does re coding for the software and changed the regional setting and it was all good. In addition i have seen a thread in this forum to do this chane for RR sport 2012.

the old sport probably uses a completely different firmware system than the very new l405 ...asking the dealer is the first step.. ... - .- -.

Maybe contact Steve of Gap Diagnostics. He may know and their IID tool may have the functionality built in to change the region and therefore hopefully the tuner settings  MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

i have already looked on the GAP site and there isnt a l405 listed [yet ] ... - .- -.

I am out of luck, GAP had replied to me that they can not do anything now but maybe end 2014.
I am trying with th edealer if they would change the tuner only which i doubt..
only if i have a blue print of thier circut board then i can replace the voltage steper on it .

Faultmate (Blackbox Solutions) does have the L405 software already but their systems are a lot more expensive than the IID Tool. I have a Faultmate Xtreme because I didn't know about the IID tool at the time. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
