Pillars are wrapped in carbon fibre wrap along with the roof. With reference to HR hahahaha I know what you mean. I haven't lowered it - just put it in entry assist mode. I can appreciate everyone has their own opinions and styles, that's why I love this forum Smile

I've been contemplating putting vinyl wrap on my roof to protect it from the elements and reduce the need for washing the roof after I've fitted the roof rack I have planned. I'm glad I've seen yours OyabunG. Looks alright to me. Travelling around in circles again.

Don't laugh as it could be done cheaply in vinyl wrap to get a sense of how it looks.

Martin, I've contemplated it but then you loose the floating roof! The other sticking point is the pillars would all need to be done to match but the trim around the rear side windows are rubber not metal like the rest! Rolling Eyes

Craig, you make a good point, so from what your saying it will not be very practical to convert the roof to gloss black as although you could also convert the metal and plastic window trims/pillars to gloss black you would still end up with the rubber bits spoiling the effect.

...unless you paint/wrap the roof a different colour to the main bodywork and not black like the upright trims..you'd have to pick a very good colour combo otherwise it could look pants. ... - .- -.
