Firstly I'd like to say hi.
I'm new to this site but was a member of disco3!some time ago. Since then I've moved from the UK and moved to Moscow in Russia where I've just bought a 2006 supercharged FFRR
Anyway enough about me here's my questions

1. Like a bloody fool I let my battery die while at a BBQ and listening to music etc. so I boosted the car to get it started. Since then though I keep getting an error message saying suspension fault normal height only available. I seem to remember al I need to do to resolve this is reset the ECU or something. Is this correct and if so how do I do this?

2. In my Disco3 I could access some other functions with a special 'hidden' button. Forgot how to access this or what the code is. Any help would be grateful

3. Adventure cam not working. Possible either not charging or the re-chargeable battery is ? Can the battery be changed,

Have you tried turning the steering all the way to the left and all the way to the right, you normally need to do this if you disconnect the battery to correct the suspension fault.

Just start it up and do the above, then turn off and on again and hopefully the suspension fault will be gone.

Ok so just tried to get rid of the suspension fault message after boosting my battery by following the advice but without success

Any other suggestions guys?

did you disconnect the battery as per the wiki info?

if you did and you still have the fault error then its probably the battery...get a drop test on it to make sure its ok. ... - .- -.

Aahhh no didn't disconnect. Didn't see the wiki So it it disconnect then reconnect battery then move the steering wheel?

Right then. S'pose I'll try again but do it properly this time

Ok. So I finally got around to trying to sort out this suspension fault. I'll be honest ( and I feel a bit of a numpty). I struggled to follow the instructions exactly. Let me explain what I did....

Turn off the ignition, and remove the key. (Keep the key close by you though, as the alarm may go off and you need to disable it)

DONE

Ensure the alarm is disabled.
Wait at least 2 minutes ( I gave it 5) for car systems to shut down such as the SatNav and Fuel Guage
Yes, now you can lift the bonnet and disconnect the Earth terminal (brown lead)

DONE

Now wait 10 minutes ( I gave it 20) for the SRS system to shut down. This is important because of what is to follow!
WAITED 20 MINS
You have a positive lead running to a fitting on the bulkhead in front of the battery, this fitting is used for connecting jump leads. Undo the nut (13mm) at the back, and release the cable, placing out of the way.

COULD ONLY SEE MULTIPLUG ON BACK. ONLY THING I COULD DO WAS REMOVE THE WIRE BY LOSENING 20mm NUT FROM THE FRONT SO I DID THIS...

Now unclip the cover for the battery terminal nut and undo the nut until loose.

WASNT SURE IF THIS MEANT FOR JUMP LEAD CONNECTOR. BUT I HAD ALREADY TAKEN THIS OFF SO I REMOVED THE RED BATTERY CONNECTOR ON THE ACTUAL BATTERY

Now unclip and take apart the multiplug which runs to the positive connector.

WAS UNSURE IF THIS MEANT THE MULTIPLUG ON BACK OF JUMP LEAD CONNCTOR OR THE ONE CONNECTED DIRECTLY TO THE BATTERY RED LEAD (also tried unplugging multiplug but was very stiff. What the jack of doing this as I didn't want to just use brute force and break something.)

Now unclip the cover and undo and remove the nut for the battery disconnect system. Lift off the cable and set aside. (This is why item 5 is important, as this thing is designed to explode and break the battery connection in the event of a crash, so it works alongside the SRS)

DONT KNOW WHAT THE BATTERY DISCONNCT SYSTEM IS??

OK, now you can wiggle and remove the positive connector from the battery terminal.
DID THIS EARLIER IN THE PROCESS

sorry guys. My user manual is in Russian so can't understand a bloody thing to check some of the items described here. Plus I'm only on an iPhone at the minute so would be a real struggle to download and view a manual online

So any clarification would be great.

By the way, I read what you've done. I think as long as you have the terminals off the battery it will definitely be disconnected!
