Mick is right, but I have a friend over on RRSport.co.uk who has a LHD UK spec Sport on UK plates in Belgium, he has his first UK MOT next month and reckons that using that switch is only temporary and his Sport will fail it's MOT as he has headlights that dip for LHD - the beam is flattened on one side and isn't acceptable for testing/inspection purposes as the fiat area is on the wrong side as the headlights dip for LHD............ Just as well I have a complete spare set of UK adaptive headlight units for my old car (OK so they have Audi styler LEDs in them, but otherwise they are standard adaptive units) that he has now purchased just so he can get through the UK test.

When you take all the costs into account Scarey it's going to be cheaper to buy a spare set of headlights! He can always sell the units on ebay when he comes back to the UK, or even in Germany. I know from selling the set of RRS Adapative headlight units that I had, that the price in the UK is a lot less than buying them in Europe. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |
