Now I remember why black sucks!

Borrowed the sharan while my box is in for refurb and unfortunately my most hated colour, I don't want to wash it every day and wipe it 30 times to remove streaks! Or see nicks scratches buffs Censored I want it done and clean to get out and have a life Wink that colour and other darks are a total pita to keep clean, been in car trade 30 years and still dislike with a passion sorry guys.

100% agree. SWMBO used to have a black S-Type 'R' Jaguar. Car washing is a "blue job" in our house and I was bloody sick of cleaning it only to have her moan it was dirty again 5 minutes later. Oh, and we live on an un-metalled road so all that dust covers the car in no time at all.

Nara Bronze, FTW Thumbs Up Dust coloured from the factory. Thumbs Up

Laughing Laughing
I used to have a black 300tdi D1 ( BC and BW), I remember one time I spent all day cleaning and polishing it, was a nice day in the summer months and it looked brilliant after it was all done......less than 12 hours after shes covered in dust after the nights windy and wet weather that came over from the Sahara.....and I live in Wales!
Never again will I have a black one, but they do look good polished up! If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Have to agree, SWMBO had a pearlescent black Corsa SRI - looked lovely when cleaned and polished - for 5 minutes, then you wondered why you bothered Big Cry

She now has an Arden Blue VXR - so much better - and the FF being Grey is, well just Great Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

@Kurtverbose - Yep, IMHO DIRTY is sooooo much better Twisted Evil (but not necessarily regarding cars) Rolling with laughter 2006 (56 Reg) 4.4 V8 Vogue In Bonatti Grey (Gorgeous!!)
