100% agree. SWMBO used to have a black S-Type 'R' Jaguar. Car washing is a "blue job" in our house and I was bloody sick of cleaning it only to have her moan it was dirty again 5 minutes later. Oh, and we live on an un-metalled road so all that dust covers the car in no time at all.

Have to agree, SWMBO had a pearlescent black Corsa SRI - looked lovely when cleaned and polished - for 5 minutes, then you wondered why you bothered

For a fiver a time, I let my favourite car wash deal with the problem, and they do a great job.
