Longest period your RR has been in garage for repair?

Hi,

As per the title... Trying to understand whether or not my experience has been trumped by anyone and any reasons for unreasonably long stays in repair garages.

I'm about to enter week 7! Thud

Thumbs Up

3 months (3 X a full month) for essentially the same problem. DVD and FBH, DVD sorted, FBH is not, gave up on the FBH matter and will see an FBH specialist I think.

It might be no harm to call to your local truck cab heater specialist. The FBH's are pretty simply in design & operation, but like all of these things, I am a firm believer of horses for courses....and those cab heater guys are pretty good at servicing and rectifying FBH faults.

In my experience, dealer technicians are not very hot at sorting these specialist areas..... 2008 Range Rover TDV8 435,000kms

Not a ff but my Mercedes CL once spent 9 months in the garage waiting for a rear wing which had corroded to be replaced under warranty.

That was annoying, but at least they honoured their corrosion issues, unlike LandRover.

Longest with the ff was just over a week, mainly as a replacement part wasn't available and was then sent to the wrong address...
