That would be because you need to search for the car bluetooth from the phone. Access codes for early bluetooth units were 0000 but if it's been upgraded the later code is 2121.

......and if it's an early unit you have to pair using 2121 every time you start up 2006 4.2 SC

Thanks for the replies guys! Dom, my book confirms the code of 2121 to pair the devices, however, my iPhone is not finding my Rangey. is there a way of switching the bluetooth off and on again on the car? or could it be a faulty unit?? Cheers. Pete. 2011 TDV8 Autobiography |

Also try another handset if you can. If your iPhone is a 5, 5C or 5S it is not unknown for them to not like the older Nokia BT modules. Again, WIGGS has an upgrade if this is the case..... 2006 4.2 SC

IF the module was faulty it would likely cause issues with the rest of the MOST system.

What is the newer module, I have a replacement from WIGGS which worked fine, then sound quality of outgoing call deteriorated and now I just get not fitted message when I try (see my previous post for details) Is the newer module just a straight swap and any idea of cost and what to look for. The replacement module for 2005-2009 models is from the later Disco4/SSRR/FFRR from 2010 onwards. its pretty much plug and play thanks to wiggs but is a lot quicker and so much easier to use than the older module and calls are that much clearer. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Just back from working away, i'll try and get a pic of the nokia module as soon as. Would it do any good to unplug this nokia thingy, then plug it back in again?? i can see it on top of the stack of dvd player (which wont eject, see separate thread posted today), sat nav, etc etc???
