Stan, keep us posted on your fuel findings I've always been sceptical of the so called benefits of fancy fuel. I've used both and not really noticed any difference would be interested on what you find.

I've just fuelled up with Tesco normal unleaded once I've used it all up i'm going to try Shell super and see if I can notice a mpg difference. It's odd you notice a drop in mpg as most see an increase. I must admit when super shell first launched I had a company Mondeo and I did notice it run better and for longer on super shell. All my other Range rovers I've had, all v8's two RRC's and a P38 Vogue SE I didn't notice any difference but the L322 SC is in a different league to my other Range rovers so maybe I will time will tell.

Hi Muttley, I have only had the car a month and the rear callipers decided to start sticking on and I only replaced the callipers last week. The car is really only used at the weekend and we live in the New Forest so I never go into town with it but will post my findings when I've given it some use with the new rear brakes, it feels so much better since fitting the callipers and have noticed mpg going up, currently 17.8 not bad for an SC.

Thanks AndyM

Ah the New Forest Thumbs Up is were have had our yearly holidays for the last 7 odd years renting a house in Brockenhurst and the holiday is based around our 2 dogs which have both been ill in the last 5 months, nearly losing one just over a week ago and had to have a major operation with vet bills heading for the 3k mark so might have to cancel this years holiday.
Would love to live there but baring a miracle or a council exchange its not going to happen … am rambling now and would like to apologise to Stan for hijacking his post Embarassed

But more to the point I mainly do short journeys so that is probably why my MPG is around 13.5 , well I hope thats the reason anyway Confused
Dave

Hi Dave, we live about 10 miles from Brockenhurst and our Jack Russell likes running over the forest also. Hope your dogs recover quickly, at the moment a mystery illness is affecting some parts of the Forrest so we do have to be careful.

so coming back from the mandatory bank holiday visit to b&q i came across this poor chap with his car on fire..
my FF was placed in a position to impede traffic so the fire service could do their 'thing'..
poor chaps saab was a few thousand miles short of 500k as well..

That's looking really good Stan, especially the back box. You just need to do what Dave (Muttley) did with those exhaust tips and it will be perfect! Thumbs Up Thumbs Up SDV8 AB MY 2019

Blame me for the weather Stan, I spent over four hours yesterday washing, claying and polishing the beast, so it is bound to rain soon! Laughing SDV8 AB MY 2019
