Keyless entry on 2010?

Anyone know if this was an option on the 2010 model please? I have the keyless starting button but no buttons in the door handles to lock/unlock the car.

Thanks in advance. Dom.

Have to unlock via the key fob on all L322s, none have passive entry.

I looked into this - the RRS does - but in the LR docs it says that the L322 can't have "quick release motors" or some such fitted so they couldn't do passive entry..

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the question, but on my 2010 TDV8 Vogue, although it does not have any normal 'keyholes' in the door handles to unlock the car without using the remote, there is provision for doing so.

The 'fixed' portion of the door handle on the left front door has a 'padlock' icon embossed thereon. The shiny edge of the remote key fob on the opposite side to where the key ring is attached slides outboard and out pops a key blade. Apparently - although I've never tried it to avoid scratching/breaking something - the embossed plastic cap on the fixed portion of that door handle can be prised off to reveal a key hole in to which the key blade can be inserted to operate the central locking (or at least open that left front door).

Be nice to know if anyone has used that provision.

Yeah but Discovery 4 from Sept 2009 on, RRS from 2008, Evoque from launch all had it available, yet the flagship model didn't. Only Land Rover could manage that and get away with it Laughing

Disco Sport and evok are ladies vehicles (hard to find the key in the purse)
FF on the other hand is a mans car (key in trousers easy to find)
The y decided not to re-disign it for a few guys with purses Rolling with laughter

I gather Land Rover was still tied into contracts with BMW to use their electronics until the death of the 322 Confused Maybe?

To much re-engineering needed to fit it.

Electronics largely changed when they went to CAN bus with the 2006 facelift.

I was told by someone who knows more than me that changes to to the locking system mid term on the L322 to give keyless entry would have required a complete new set of crash tests which was deemed to costly with the new model just a couple of years away Shocked
