Hi, been away for 2 weeks, got home at 4 this morning. Needed milk go to tesco, jumped into the FF (02 TD6) started 1st time On the way back about 250 yards from home, put my foot down and ROAR!!!!! sounds like the full exhaust has been removed (think the neighbours are off with me).

I've taken a quick look in and under the engine bay with the engine ticking over (sounds like a 50's Massy Ferguson's tractor) can't see any cracks, or exhaust gases, no errors on the dash. If it was a normal car I would think exhaust or manifold, but as we all know, FF's are not normal.

With the holidays can't even talk with my indy till Tuesday, and its a long time to be thinking, turbo or engine imploded.

Any thoughts.

Check your catalytic converter is still there......
