URGENT done a deal on a ffrr but

Hello all,
Ive decided to get rid of the volvo and return to a FF after only 6 months away so iv'e done a deal on a 2012 vogue the issue I have is there was no fob for the park heating the main dealer says there isn't one and the car only has timed heat and that the remote was a £1000 option, i dont belive him please could some one confirm that a 2012 TDV8 should have this as standard or am I wrong also I thought a dvd player in the back was standard ?. please help asap as it may come that I try to cancell the hpi.

Well the RSE was made an option after a specific year think it was 08 or 09 regarding the fob for the remote heating that I am unsure of ====================================

"Open Mike Night " sounded like a lot of fun until i found out i was going to an Autopsy

Main dealer ?

If so, ask for a full spec sheet

The RSE is not standard on the Vogue.

Regarding the fob for remote heating, our 2011 had it so presume the 2012 should have it. It may be lost but you can pick one up on eBay for £20 and pull a fuse and program it so not a deal breaker.

It's an L322? The L405s don't have the remote unless spec'd....

If you have the VIN run it thru TOPIX for the build data.

Thanks for the replies guys, yes its a L322 from a main dealer, iv'e tried the topix thing but as with others I can only get the initial picture and I have registered.
The main dealers website listed on that car a park heater with remote fob but like I say he says there isn't one surley this must fall under trades discription or something miss selling of goods etc, I can just see a phone heated discussion tomorrow also on monday we agreed rear mudflaps were FOC and now I have to pay for them

I had a similar conversation with a main dealer, when they told me that a particular car didn't come with a remote until I got a spec sheet and proved to them this car (which was a 2010 Vogue) did come with a remote then they relented.

Incidentally I didn't end up buying that car for a few reasons and bought a 2011.5 VSE with a remote, but then bought a second remote on eBay for £20 and programmed it by unplugging the T91 in less than 30 seconds.

Do your own research but don't let it be a deal breaker either way.

Hope that helps. 2016 (L405) Autobiography in Black with Ivory - for ULEZ

2011 (L322) VSE in Black with Ivory

Thanks guys,
Iv'e been on topix which is working properly today and found what I thought, the remote is fitted with the car so I have left a message with the dealer a polite one at that to say no remote no deal. Also the rubber matts were missing and I was told I would have to buy some more "No I wont " was my reply the carpet was spotless the matts were clearly robbed to put in another car. Just why do all (probably all) car dealers either lie through their teeth or just talk crap what happened to the exciting and joyfull feeling of been able to buy a car of this class and value.
My head really hurts today.
