You've got to wonder why these current model 7 series BMW's are going for such little money Gorgeous looking car for the money and 41 mpg I'm sorely tempted, not by this particular example just in general

Even by 7 series residuals, that seems suspiciously cheap to me

I have a 2012 730d , great car and in many ways better than the range rover. Mine goes next week though and my l322 becomes my daily |

I thought so too when I saw it, but a search on AT shows loads at that kind of money. Cracking value. Funnily enough the big engine petrol cars are worth double at the same age. Odd. But good. I might buy one. Graham

I have to admit, before the return to the green oval I had more than a quick look at another A8....they are simply stunning.... Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |

It's a lot of car for the money. When I was young, the 7 series and S Class were cars you could only dream of. I had a Lexus LS400 for a while, amazing car. Big slushy saloons are totally out of fashion now and replaced by SUVs, people carriers and so on.

I'm in love with mine. Superbly comfortable, beautifully crafted, quiet and really rather economical...: that's >50mpg on a 60 mile trip. Over 40mpg is easily done. 200 quid a year to insure and £180 - £300 for a service too.

= trip memory of course. All VAG cars with trip computers have it. Quite useful.
