If it's any help my RR got stolen with all of the keys so the garage had to find another way in once it'd been recovered. They said while recovering it the alarm just kept going off constantly, so that's a good thing.

What I have done is have lights on a pir with a camera mounted high but also put up a flashgun on a separate pir so lights go on then they move about a yard closer and the flash goes of 3 times instinctively you look up right into the cctv highly recommended |

Don't let the RAC airbag your door. It can damage the doors and the central locking button is disabled if the car superlocks (e.g. is locked and immobilised using the key fob).

So pretty much much only thieves can break into them without smashing the windows unless you know the trick to opening them, which i dont btw. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

if you own an early model, under the bmw ownership... there is a way that crooks can copy the details of your car, from the diagnostic socket, and order a key! especially from abroad. ie pretend to have details to produce in a dealers as being a holiday'ing stranded motorist.

Yes it is. I've got an app on my phone so I can view the live feed and also look at past recordings. i've also set up email alerts one one camera, if any motion is detected.

Paul, I'd like to install the same CCTV system as you, but I can't find it for anything near £100 - where did you get yours from? Thanks 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car! |
