If it's on a vehicle, it will need MOT

Joker, all number plates are year related, they were issued at a particular time and you can't put it in an older vehicle to make it appear newer Thumbs Up

Surely if its a pre prefix / suffix number e.g. ABC 123, 123 ABC it can go on any year ?

DVLA say you need -

'an MOT test certificate (for cars and motorcycles over 3 years old, and heavy goods vehicles over 1 year old) for each vehicle'

Mick, all plates are indeed age related. Mine for instance (you have probably all seen it) one number and three letters was issued in 1937 so is indeed age related and has to go on a car registered after 1937.

My point is, all UK plates are age related "but some seem irrelevant if that old" Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
