What system did you have fitted and how much if you don't mind me asking. Seen lots of nice V8s for sale for good prices inc the one on here in France but was wondering whether to buy another already converted or get one to convert. |

My new baby goes into A-Z on Monday, I already run a 5 litre merc on LPG and will never get bored of £25 for 200 miles with a lead foot. Warren only uses BRC which I have on Merc and trust implicitly. Over the phone sounded like he knew the sc engine and it's LPG problems. Only problem now is finding a hiding place for filler. Since the license plate is not an option for hiding the filler, I suggest underneath the rear bumper. I drove a lot of LPG cars over time and with a good cover underneath the car is fine. Do make sure it is far enough up that with offroading you don't have an issue. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Mine's at the back under the bumper, but the problem is when you fill up, it looks like you're trying to squirt it back up the exhaust pipe... Tym

That is very neat and tidy. There were a few things that put me off going LPG with mine and one was they wanted to put a huge great filling valve on the side if the car. |

Bit of a way for you to travel for a conversion RSE2008 But can confirm Warren at A to Z knows his when it comes to LPG. Sorted my 2006 BRC system very well SDV8 AB MY 2019

The Merc is a 99 SL500 with a BRC conversion, same as the FFRR, difference is the SL is a lot lighter so gets much better mpg Current:
