How easy is it to remove a Tow Bar from a L322

Is it an easy job ... i.e. undo a few bolts plus are tow bars really worth much when taken off to resell ... ====================================

Pretty sure you need to have the bumper off too but other than that bolt off. You will need the hangers which are removed when you fit the bar to put back on though. These bolt on where the towbar fitted, then unplug the wiring.

Simples...... Ish. Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Bumper off Mick.
I don't think it's a hard job but it will need 2 people to get the bumper off and tow bar frame.
I helped CT Craig put mine on and they are very heavy. Electrics are easy. Thumbs Up 2020 Porsche Panamera Turbo Hybrid (V FAST)

Mick, rear bumper off, strip boot sides , remove rear crash bar, undo exhaust hangers, dis/assemble electrics, remove 4 x 22mm tow bar bolts (mind your toe's) replace original tow eye brackets x 2 and then put the rest back together Thumbs Up

Around three ish hours on a newer FFRR (without corrosion) Much longer for an older model Shocked Shocked Shocked Thumbs Up IF, everything goes to plan and your an experienced spanner wan Censored er... Thumbs Up

Mick
When I changed from a TD6 to a TDV8, I owned both cars for a couple of weeks. The TDV8 didn't have a towbar, so I swapped the one from the TD6 onto it.
Bearing in mind that I was doing a similar exercise on two vehicles, and working alone, it took me a day of hard graft. The benefit was not having to pay for the supply and fitting of a towbar, but if in your case you would be looking to sell the one being taken off, I really don't think it's worth the hassle (or risking a hernia, broken toes, grazed knuckles etc).
Colin Thumbs Up
