Sweden 2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Epsom Green

Hi,

I have read many great topics on here,am now registered. I am English born in Devon, but lived in Sweden the last 25 years.

I have about 7 land rovers. 2 Defenders 130 and 110, a Disco 2 td5, a Range Rover 2004 td6, a RR Classic 86, a RR 96 P38 diesel, and a class 5 trialer, 84" RR based.

I have a sign business, in sweden, and another business selling land rover parts which I buy from the UK, not the slightest interest in business here, just here as a land rover owner Smile

Actually yes have a Volvo 945 ex Telia (Swedish Telecom) that we have had for years, never lets us down starts in ALL weather unlike the others, but wasnt going to mention that here Smile, keep thinking we should get rid of it, but it never costs anything and the kids have learnt how to drive in it. Smile

Just signed up - considering getting a FFRR but a bit nervous of possible reliability issues, having had a problem D3 four years ago and the local dealer being most unsatisfactory! (the shower in Preston - took them two months to fix a couple of wiring issues, during which time they just didn't look after me at all well - have never found anyone with a good word to say about them)

Have had a Subaru Outback diesel for nearly 4 years and getting to a point where I want to change. Do around 13,000-15,000 miles a year though there is a chance that will increase (unlikely to decrease). If I got busy at work it could increase to around 18,000-20,000 a year - but the extra profits would pay for it Laughing

Haven't set a strict budget yet but considering a 3.6 V8 - wondering if should spend nearer bottom end (£17k-£18k ish) and get something with 80k+ miles or find something nearer £30k and buy with lower mileage from a main dealer. I don't think that is a question anyone can answer for me - having spent £20k on a D3 that I loved for the first three months (loved how relaxing it was) and then hated for the next two, I am a bit nervous of trusting a Land Rover product again!

Another possibility is waiting while prices drop for the 4.4 and buying in a few months' time = not in any particular rush. Prefer the look of the pre-09 changes though - the front end of 09+ models looks a bit fussy to me

Fave colour is green, and I like tan interior, though not sure if that combination is available on FFRR? At least it would be something nice to look at when broken down... Saw a semi-skimmed with tan interior yesterday (Stratstone Bury) which looked amazing (despite grey exterior) though I am more inclined to a FF. Not keen on very pale interiors - I live on a farm, and am not excited about keeping a car clean

Anyway, I am more indecisive than, well, I cannot decide what, so I might end up buying a BMW M135i!

Umm, I think that is probably more information than is at all necessary

Hi everyone!

I've been a member of the disco 3 site for the last 3 years and found the site very useful. I have traded my discovery in for a full fat. Pick it up on Wednesday Smile
