condensation in the rear lights

condensation in the rear lights ... is this just one of those things to be expected on an L322 ? My offside rear seems to be getting worse now the sun has started to shine. 2010 model under warranty ... warranty replace or should I just live with it knowing the replacement might go that way in time anyway ? ( even though I have a warranty, I dont' like to feel I'm taking the pee)

No I have my car converted and suffer this too. Only in the last few months I bought a brand new rear light from Dan and although not as bad as previous light this one steams up also . It really spoils the look of the car. I think there is an acceptable limit as to how bad condensation needs to be before Land Rover will entertain changing it. If you remove rear light you will find two breather tubes might be worth checking these are clear. Im certain they all suffer this and I think the reason why its more noticeable around this time of the year is the changing of temperatures were it cold at night and temp rises to 13 during day and as it cools in the evening the condensation returns Censored If I were you I would be pushing them to change it otherwise you will have to live with it and inevitably you will end up buying new unit yourself once warranty has expired Thumbs Up Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

Unfortunately that does not work on the newer type lights as they are led and do not generate enough heat to burn off the condensation Big Cry Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

It's not just the heat that does it, it's the air circulating... They tend to clear themselves when parked up. Previously..

Had a similar problem on my 04 Rear Light (the left one if I remember correctly). I pulled out the tail light, took it inside, removed the bulbs from the housing and so forth, left every thing open and in the sun, put it back on, never ever have I had a problem with that tail light again. Maybe it's just dumb luck. Zambezi Silver Range Rover (2010 Autobiography Facelift)

The approved warrenty refused their replacement due to them being a known issue that LR has issued bulletins for , so Ripon LandRover are getting both replaced by LandRover under goodwill Cool

Not a bad result!

Mine are steaming up at the moment too. Ugly but harmless. My fronts were doing it as well but they dried out and havent steamed up for a while now. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
