Will keep mine on until my trip to the UK - beginning of April. They saw plenty of snow this season, but only when in the mountains for skiing. Been very mild this winter even here in Switzerland. |

Swapped mine a couple of weeks ago - can't se there being any freezing mornings now - and the bulk of the time is over 7 degree |

Actually the 7 degrees thing is the average temperature for the day. For most tyres there is a cross over point where between 10-15 degrees there's no difference between the compounds (tread not taken into consideration) used for summer and winter tyres. Even in the summer months a premium winter tyre will stop better than a budget summer tyre. This is usually down to the casing and tread patterns rather than the silica content.
