Do you reckon they'd be worth that. They have just been refurbished - new tyres and not a scratch.

This is the second. I'm only driving the Range for professional use and in 99% of the time alone. The tax saving on the first year was around 25K€. The "kit" is installed by an independent company on the new car but sold over the official dealer network. And I have to say it's very handsome. 1.70 meter length gives a massive loading space. The protecting bulkhead is 24cm. Looks like a great job... Would not mind doing something similar to my commercial conversion.

Na, one wouldn't be in much trouble. Similar to overloading - however there is no rule in this country regarding same.

Expensive? Cost was 1500 euro including vat and including all paperwork and MOT. Saving first year was ca. 25.000€ on all kind of taxes. It's what you name expensive. And as I use the car most of the time alone I don't care and it's damn handsome to load some stuff. A 3rd person in the back is out of question. No seat and no belts in the back, NFW. For the dog it is as dangerous as in a Defender 90. But I don't have a dog, so again no issue to me. 2017 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 silicon silver 2011 Defender 90 2.4 TDCI Nara Exclusive 2008 Porsche 911 997 4S Black/black 1970 Porsche 911T 2.2 in restauration 1980 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ40 concours winner |

The police are very vigilant on that down this way. If you are caught with someone in the rear of a 2 seater van, the extra passenger is made get out and walk....the driver will most definitely attract penalty points on his licence for carrying passengers unlawfully in a suitably equipped vehicle etc... 2008 Range Rover TDV8 435,000kms

I'm not so sure you are correct. I believe the only law is that one uses all the seats and seat belts available. After that, there seems to be no law against overload so therefore no penalty points. One possible could be done for using a commercial vehicle outside work, however if one is overload for the purposes of work I cannot see this happening. |
