Just bought my next FFRR (thanks to Gaz !!!), a MY 2010 Galway Green 5.0 SC AB and was looking for insurance.

Will be a very special case as I am Dutch, the car will be in the UK for a few months and then I will drive it to the Netherlands to keep it there for a long while.

Anyway, A-Plan did a great job and sorted my insurance out in no time. It became active when Gary delivered to car to my friends so it is properly (full comp) covered now  MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

My insurance company wanted silly money to renew my policy and to be honest if I had no choice with there quote financially it probably would have been a case of selling the car.

I finalised the details today with Nick who was extremely helpful and all I will say is it was a huge amount cheaper than my previous company which means for now I can keep the car plus the bonus of free legal cover thanks to being a member of the forum.

Rang for a quote. Said they would ring back with price etc, That was over a week back, wont be chasing them up, Their loss not mine.

I called up last Sat and they emailed me back on Tuesday. Paid £322 last year, they came in at £400.

Well that was a less than impressive service!

Steve Marsh has obviously long since left A-Plan, so you ring a generic number who didn't even seem to know who FFRR were/are!!

Put on hold for a 'new quote' team member, then no-one available to take the call -- I know, I know, I'm a grumpy old git 'I don't believe it'
