Asking price for a facelifted ff

Hello guys,

I was wondering if any one could help me to establish a fair asking price for my ff, I don't really want to give it away on the cheap but also don't want it to sit overpriced for months. Really hoping to see what real world values people selling their face lifted ff's had achieved? The for sale prices on auto trader range quite a bit.
Car details are:
2003 03 plate
4.4 vogue
57k miles fsh ( not main dealer but serviced to manufactures guide lines)
Mot October 2014 tax June 2014
2010 face lift (all original parts including genuine wheels and continental tyres covered 3k miles)
Piano black painted trim to all foundry colored trims
Rear seat entertainment with PS2( no digital tv )
I would describe the car as excellent considering the age ( I know this is subjective to different people)
I would really appreciate the views of all forum members, especially our site sales guru Gary
Many thanks Glenn.
Couple of pics to help you get an idea of the car

Nice car Thumbs Up

Do you want to take a seat and let me publish the non facelift values and you decide what to add on?

I think you also need to post full details of service history any major component replacements and any known faults?

Could be a great car for somebody Very Happy

I know that will be a bitter pill to swallow Big Cry
But please do tell, on the autotrader some list as high as £12000 albeit it a higher mileage diesel.

Its to old for our usual trade quote system so you got the special treatment:

Clean £7,975
Average £7,350
Below £6,725
Retail £10,395

From the above I would put Private Sale at £9000 + 1500-2000 for the facelift so £10500-£11000

However the values are high(ish) due to the mileage and it can sometimes be difficult to get higher money for an older registration regardless of mileage.

If it was mine selling privately I would stick it in at £11495 and be prepared to take a little less. Thumbs Up

Cheers for that Gary, that was give or take where I felt the car should be I just did not want to go through the motions of overpricing. To be fair the car does not quite owe me that much so I will probably look to start it off around the £11k mark and hope it has a a bit of interest from forum members and then if not I'll stick it on autotrader for £11.5k. Would prefer to sell onto an enthusiast as it is a really nice we'll cared for ff.
Hopefully then I can move onto a 2007 SC ready for a facelift Very Happy

Thanks fellas, I was not a green fan before I bought it. My neighbor has his own coach works and carries out a lot of rrs facelifts and D3 color coding so I sourced the parts and info required and he painted and installed the new parts, so yes I would definitely recommend, pm for his details based in gillingham kent. Hopefully I will have a day off next week to wash and prepare for sale and get some pics up with an ad. Fingers crossed I will be able to source a good SC and facelift, really fancy going black outside and black inside with a set of 22's!

It looks great and the mileage will really help it. I looked at a couple of facelifts, but the mileage and over ally condition put me off, whearas yours looks in great shape. I would have thought £10,995 looks realistic as a starting point. 4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE

I have a very similar car Nov 2005 In Silver with the full facelift, showing 95000 miles FSH if I was thinking to sell I would expect £12000 to 12500 for it.
