To everyone that knows what the real world differences are as I have to make a decision tomorrow:

2010 3.6 TDV8 - 48k miles.
2011 4.4 TDV8 - 55k miles.

I do approximately 10k a year and both are the same price exactly, I know that the 4.4 seems the most appealing, but I do tend to have this British tendency to be biased towards mileage, I only intend on keeping for 2-3 years then upgrade to a low mileage last run out of L322 Westminster or something to keep for long time.

Any advice would be gladly received (as long as its not too rude).

2011 4.4 TDV8 - 55k miles, Presuming condition and history is the same.
I would suggest better residual value.

Thanks for your quick response guys, decision has been made.

Thankfully the chosen one is at an independent rather than main dealer., as they have been stalling for 4 weeks since deposit put down, so there loss now.

My advice take the newer car with the better motor.
