so in theory when the lights comes on you got about 8 litres of fuel left ..on fox's mpg that will be about 56 miles... |

Probably, I think about 50 miles on the petrol light is the norm, every other car I've had has said roughly the same. 2006 Mercedes CLS

Sounds about right. Normally have between 55 and 65 miles on the range when the light goes on. Then a bong sounds at 30 to go.

To be honest, I don't take much notice of fuel lights and range etc, not when the fuel light on my van only comes on when the gauge goes off the scale like this...

I'd be the same due to the price of fuel I only fill up about half way |

I have been collecting Air Miles on from SHELL in recent months - regulary filling up my FFRR with their VPower Diesel when its available & collecting the points whenever I have to refuel the work vans also...

I wish we could collect shell points as a business, we spend about 5k a week there.
