I recently put £119.90 into the tank (@£1.199per litre) and the display was still showing about a range of 30 miles.

It is a 100 litre (22 Imperial Gallon) tank, but the filler neck will easily take a couple of litres.

I remember green shield stamps and I'm still using 'crystal' glasses and crockery from the Tiger Tokens on a daily basis. Embarassed

Actually, I remember the day that prices in the UK hit £1 per gallon although I was a young back seat driver at that point. Whistle

My father had a late 60's Mk1 Cortina and he said that he would be stopping driving when it got to £1 for fuel.

nope, manual says 100 litre....
