i have 22" wheels, 285 35 tyres. very road bias and they slid over wet grass.

what size winter tyre with the right speed rating for a 4.2 supercharged RR can i run?

im so confused.

i have continetal cross contact AT on my defender and they are great on road, of road and in the snow

also what is the biggest wheel/tyre combo that chains will fitt to the RR with out any problems.

Wet grass is like ice - a very easy surface on which embarrass most 4x4's

You can run winter tyres & chains on standard 20's - 255 50 20

I run Vredestein winter tyres & they work well.

I've carried chains for many years & never used them on the FFRR - but have to have them for when we go to the Alps.
