United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Monte Carlo Blue
My new "Alive" FFRR

I took a nice drive up to see Gary at Alive Tuning on Saturday.
I was very impressed with the friendly, welcoming and down to earth atmosphere. All in all I was there for a couple of hours (mostly due to me asking 100000 questions) in that time we spoke about what I wanted from my re-map, expectations and reality. He then worked some magic to my requests and we went for a test drive/tweak if needed or wanted I think they call this a live re-map lol.
After all the questions I chose a refinement re-map, I didn't want to go for a balls out bhp and tourque increase. I wanted to make the RR drive how I thought it should from factory.
I now have a car that no longer struggles to decide what gear it needs, pulls out of junctions with just a tap of the accelerator and if I want to overtake it's no longer a struggle. All in massively impressed with the difference in my RR, and I would recommend anyone close by, or not, to pop in and see what can be done.

Plus I got some wicked "Alive" oval bages too Thumbs Up

They remapped my last 90 and completely transformed it.

A very similar experience of very consultative and created a map around my usage. Highly recommended (and do some great show deals at the LRO show at Billing). 4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

Gary did my td5 Disco back in 2007 when he was still working from the garage at his home. Was td5alive then.

Very similar experience. Kept the car for 4 years after. Never had any trouble.

In my limited knowledge, I'd use JE Engineering or Alive tuning.

Thanks for coming to see us yesterday Bushy513.

Your particular remap was made to enhance the overall performance of the Td6, giving silky smooth torque delivery, enhancing the refinement, and without overstressing the transmission.

I'll get a before and after dyno graph of your calibration, as soon as the dyno is up and running.

Kind regards,

Gary. Custom Remapping | Samco Hoses | Sports Exhausts

Just love the colour of your car.

Would love to see it with the titanium front and rear badging and a 2010 facelift, I think it would be the most amazing looking car. I'm surprised Gaz hasn't done one. Discovery 4 HSE
