Mine has autolock. The way it works is that once you get going it locks all doors and the tailgate. When you stop all doors and tailgate stay locked. To open all doors either push the open door button on the dash (next to the hazard lights switch) or use the key fob. To open an individual door double pull the door handle. 2012 5.0L S/C

Not sure if it's the same as my earlier car, but mine auto locks at 10mph and stays locked. Along with all the other doors.

Yes, all sounds like normal operation except the bit where it tries to unlock when you stop, but doesn't succeed.

Yep, I asked this question when I moved from a BMW E60, which DID unlock when you switched of the engine.

Mine had it on when I got the car but had it switched off soon as I could. I did not like it |

The funny thing is, you could have an 06 FF and an 06 plate D3 and the features work entirely different to each other... The auto locking on a D3 auto unlocks when you remove the ignition key, doesn't auto unlock at all on a FF (rubbish feature imho) so you land up having to press the unlock button every time you exit the car!
