Just thought I'd keep it original, had the rover 2 years + previous owner and that's the jack just given up the ghost F**K IT you only live once |

Yea thanks jay just had a wee read, the scissor collapsed on me just as I was about to take my wheel off so you might be right about the bottle jack F**K IT you only live once |

Same happaned to me!! Crappy jack! I had to check it had a Land Rover sticker on it to make sure it was the right one for the car!! I'm glad the wheel was still attached to the car when it failed |

The Mercedes Sprinter bottle jack is a brilliant piece of kit for the RR and can be had for a bargain.

get both.. using the scissor jack and the bottle jack you will be able to jack up the FF safely.. |

I replaced mine because it collapsed a couple of years ago. I would only use it now in an emergency with extreme caution.
