Hi Peejay, I do this for a living so feel reticent in endorsing products on a public forum but what I can say is this:- If you are enthusiast and take a lot of time caring for your care yourself then find the gentlest product you can for that specific job, check the MSDS sheets if you can for any product. As a detailer I am fully aware that enthusiasts don't need our services each and every time they want there car cleaned but I am still very open with my clients in terms of advice, your local detailer should feel the same way, they should be willing to help, ask questions, advice should be free. Be aware that as a sole user you don't have the opportunity to continually test products for one specific task, when you find one that you are happy with not only in terms of performance but also safety then maybe stick with it, sorry if that sounds patronising, it is not meant to. Finally, stick to the manufacturers directions, so many times I've seen people trying to ladle on wax and suchlike only to find they cant get the stuff off, when it says "use sparingly" then please do so but just apply more times to build up. Again I apologise if I sound patronising, I really don't mean to but just trying to be helpful, if anyone needs advice please feel free to contact me |
