Just took the car in to have the gearbox serviced and the boot replaced

They have given me, instead of a freelander courtest car, a 63 plate, 400 mile Evoque SD4

First impression on my car for the week are quite favourable, its quiet, refined, nippy, well kitted out, and looks good in 2 door, in firenze red on 20" wheels.

Not so practical for a trip to the builders merchants as the disco thogh There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Disco is in for a new flywheel.....
This time they have given me a Defender 110 7 seat

It's erm...... Different

I have nearly driven it into quite a lot of stuff as it seems to have a massive turning radius
Noisy
Very noisy

But surprisingly nippy

And the kids love it. Been out playing in the floods near here.  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Out of our three Land Rovers, my 3 year-old daughter far prefers my 110.

She likes my S/C a lot, but always asks to go in the 110.

And she cries heavily if we ever mention going out in our Series III. She finds it 'too noisy, Daddy!' Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.

Disco is on the mend, plaudits to car care plan again, new dual mass flywheel, new clutch, new magnet?, not a new xy sensor yet, and a new lock solenoid on the fuel flap......

Always nice to have a 'working' Land Rover....its a choice of which one to take out then  If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!
