i would run the FF with the amp disconnected for a few weeks to see if it actually is the cause... |

Are they a trusted garage in your opinion Nick? I ask because there will be many more components fed by that feed and unplugging the amp may just take out a link in the chain... |

the FF has a maze of ecus that 'talk' to each other so the process of disconnecting the amp might have affected another ecu into working properly...just a theory ... |

I would be wary about what a Main Dealer tells you. To find a specific source of battery drain is very time consuming over a significant period of time. I find it hard to believe a Dealer would spend the necessary time and might just opt for a best guess after a nominal investigation.
