I was originally tempted by the new shape rs4s, but tried one out today and its not really for me, plus kids and wife hated it too !!

I do stray every now and then, but always end up with a full fat in the end - i think its now a way of life rather than just a mode of transport for me.

5.0 supercharged is tempting, but my head tells me to go for a 4.4 diesel - funny thing is ive never driven a diesel before, so not sure what to expect, looks like i need to find a dealer thats got both and blag them for the day.

Price on mine is negotiable by the way.

Cheers.

2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black

Hi Stephen

I'm new to the forum and currently unable to PM you as I haven't reached the mandatory 3 posts. I'm in the market for a SC and the spec of yours looks great.

I just thought I would ask on the off chance as to whether you ever make your way down south. I work in London and live near Guildford. As much as I appreciate it is worth travelling for the right car I would struggle to justify coming as far as your neck of the woods.

Either way, best of luck with the sale

Thanks

John

Thanks for all the kind comments, she really is in splendid condition and looks more like 40k miles.

Its been a long time since i sold a car privately and i'd forgotten how many chancers and scammers there are out there !!, i now see why part ex and wbac are so popular these days.

In a bit of a dilemma at the moment as I've taken the week off for mid term hols and dragged the kids along to my local LR dealer today for a look at a 2011 4.4 tdv8 and I'm not totally convinced that i can justify adding another £25k+ to my car to get into a car that looks essentially the same and isn't really any quicker !! ( interior is a tad plusher though)

Also kids have got pretty used to the RSE, so anything without it would be a step in the wrong direction - surprising how many supposed top spec range rovers for sale out there don't have RSE and i don't want to go down the retrofit route, i only do factory standard.

Time to look at a 5.0 supercharged i fear ............... If not i might be sticking with what ive got.

Yes one or two, but i cant believe I'm determining what to drive based on not wanting to upset the kiddies !

You could always buy the kids an ipad each and then down load a few films on them...and they could watch films anywhere not just in the FF Thumbs Up

Good luck with the sale though. Thumbs Up If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!
