I don't know if this helps, or is even relevant. but I did wrap the lower grey bits round the heater controls and the clock as I didn't like them, One of these days I will also do round the screen - maybe.. I also did the sides along the centre console. All pretty easy actually.

Ok, I am not CTC and I won't pretend to be either...but after being told I'd need to wait around 3-4 weeks to get my car in mates paint and wrapping workshop just to do a few bits I decided to go for it;

Looks very good in the photo. Not sure how if a contrasting colour would work on my Silver FFRR There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Unless you coded other apsects like the side vents, mirrors and grill I don't think it'd work tbh.. Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |

i have just wrapped the door handle surrounds and the centre 2 parts around the clocks,the trouble i had was the grey finish on the parts nothing will stick to them so i had to rub them down back to the grey plastic to get the wrap to stick ,was well worth it and cheaper than piano black covers,looks good in black and only 20 quids worth of wrap and still some left over to do the gear stick panel |

I did my front grill with the carbon fibre about a year ago - which worked quite well I think.

you're probably right Nick, straight flat surfaces tend to be a lot easier... |

That's right Stan. They said it can be done but the film has to be so hot to move that it often tears of shrinks quickly after application so paint is best. Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |

Ok, so here's my first run with this vinyl wrapping stuff. To be honest once it's heated, and with a flat surface it's very easy to work with...however if there are any curves and changes in direction its goes like warm cling film or chewing gum so not that easy. I wish I had waited for a second pair of hands to hold heat gun but nonetheless I am pretty chuffed with my job and the whole thing cost £5.14
