Wont be doing much off road to be honest but a friend off mine has a track that runs through some very boggy woodland and to cut a long story short it broke my Range rover Sport (wash my mouth out with soap) back in November so will take the full fat to the same place to see if it fairs any better and can spare me the humiliation of another tow out. please excuse the same question but does anyone know about this active diff option? Cheers 2010 FFRR vogue SE Zermatt

this may not be correct but i believe that in normal operation the diff acts as any other diff but when you select off road or other options on the terrain response thingy it will lock the rear wheels together therefore if you happen to get into a situation were the rear wheels are spinning on the one side when the diff gets locked the drive will pass too the non spinning therefore grippy side therefore your able to carry on your journey without a tow out |
