Hi guys.. Need some help..

Just went to open drivers side door and heard a clunk noise from the handle.

The door wouldnt open. So tried it from the inside and works fine. Car locks fine. Just the handle is not latching onto what it should be.

Anyone know whether this is an easy fix or does handle need to be replaced??

the door has two cables , one from the inside handle to the lock mechanism and another from the outside handle to the lock , so your outside cable has gone...

This exact problem happened to me tonight. I've searched, but can't see any details on the repair procedure.....can anyone point me in the right direction?

Managed to bumble through this today. Door card off as shown in PowerfulUK Youtube video (only it was a torqx bolt under the airbag emblem, not a 10mm bolt). The cable had snapped just where it meets the nipple at the door handle, the only tricky bit was getting the orphan nipple out of the catch.
