I will probably do a 05 facelift conversion with time, but first have to redo the kitchen. I dont like the grill that overlap the frontlights though. I was just wondering if there was a smartlooking upgrade for the horizontal one, or horizontal ones that looked good?

You'd be surprised how easy it is to dismantle bits once you get going and pluck up the courage, as with any car.

For instance, I had to fix a broken PDC sensor mounting in my front bumper, and found that the bumper was basically held on with about ten screws.

I've never had an IID tool, mainly because by the time faults started appearing it was time to sell the car on anyway, so I got the Dealer to sort out any issues, as I have a very good Dealer relationship.

Having done things like swapping wheels on the RR, removing bumpers, trim, wiper motors, dash parts etc, it can be done. My limitation is time and strength, I'm not Mr Universe and RR parts are damned heavy!

If you have workshop space, the right tools such as high lift 3-5 tonne trolley jacks, axle stands, decent tools etc, it's easier. An Air compressor with tools is useful. I swapped out all the suspension on my Defender, one corner at a time, and it was only possible because I had 2 of most things, jacks, stands, socket sets etc. Discovery 4 HSE

It's size can help. Not with the weight of things, but for access.

My VX220 can be a real pain for access.

The grill in my kitchen is no where near the lights.....

access is good but its a heavy mofo and requires decent tools and plenty of muscle.I do most of the work on mine in my yard so all possible but would like to add a compressor and airgun to my ever growing list of tools

Is changing the BM54 unit the easiest way to get an AUX-input in the car? How much must I spend to get it upgraded? I would really like to have the possibility to connect my phone or ipad to the car.

Is there a good way to get some more sound from the exchaust, without ruining the original look of the car?

the dealer should have turned the steering wheel fully to the left and then fully to the right after the jump start, if he didnt then the errors will show..
i suggest disconnecting the battery and do this procedure , how to is in the wiki..
there is also the possibility that the battery is knackered..

Will replace the battery when i Get home. Like having a fresh battery. -15 here In winter.
