Just had a reply from the eBay seller who suggests a resistor would sort the issue. £6 for a pair........ 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Don't know if the year of car makes any difference to the effects of plugging in these LED bulbs Mark but the LED bulbs I've put in the SC were all sold as canbus, error free although with the obligatory 'you might need to buy resistors' warning. They have given no faults and flash at an identical rate to the OE bulbs that they replaced. They're not quite as bright as Stan's upgrade LED's though (I don't think anyway Stan?)

Looking on the net regarding the "hyper flashing" as it seems to be called, you can fit a resistor on each bulb, but they get really hot, have to be wired in parallel and can't be mounted to plastic or paint. Plus the wiring is not that accessible from what I can see.

the white cree type bulbs give you more lumens than the coloured bulbs so i agree with your max watts.. |

Having spent some time searching the net, it seems that the hyper flashing could be resolved by disabling all the monitoring on the LCM. I have the iidtool, but decided to use navcoder as it has the option to disable cold, warm and warning settings, whereas the iid tool seems to allow the first 2.

according to the ebay listing yours already have resisters in them so in theory they should ok or they could be faulty....

Yes, different flash rate each side. I believe the resistors in them are just to stop the errors on the dash for bulbs being out. but it seems they still present a significant less load on the system.

the trouble with the FF rear indicators is that they are in a kinda 'circuit' board panel which will make it hard to fit resisters...
