May work on a battery just below the charge needed to start a RR but a completely flat/dead battery then no chance. (IMHO) |

Left mine at Manchester airport 10days over Christmas with a solar charger plugged in and working and still returned to a very flat battery. I went to the terminal customer service and they sent one of their staff over with a battery pack, it happens regularly at airports. Unfortunately the battery pack was only half charged so ended up getting green flag out. I was on the road later glad to be back in my ffrr instead of the horrible renault twingo hire car. |

If you were to fit a battery isolating switch to your car you could leave it as long as you like at an airport etc and the battery would be fully charged when you came back.

I got one of these for Xmas from my Grandfather after he'd seen them advertised in a Sunday paper supplement.

I bought one of these mainly as a long life power supply for my laptop and phone.

Saw this video on YouTube starting a car with capacitors. Maybe it is the same science behind it.
