That does sound like a very good solution then - what is the OEM setup in your car? Pre touch screen satnav and HK?? What year is it?

When you play music, does the audio from the phone come out of all the speakers?

Sorry for all the questions!

Cheers

Hi Simes sorry to trouble you again with this - but I am getting conflicting advice regarding installing the parrot...

How do you control the volume when listening to music via the parrot? Do you have to do this using the parrot control, or does the DSP amp volume (on steering wheel/dash) still work? How do you select the parrot as the audio source - do you have to choose TAPE or AUX, or is it automatic?

Would you mind letting me know who did the install on yours, as I may give them a call to see if they can supply the kit+ a suitable lead for me to DIY it

Thanks again for your help, it is much appreciated

Cheers,

Jerry

Volume is controlled by the usual controls on the steering wheel and dashboard. Nothing odd about it. To select the audio from the phone, just start it playing music and the radio switches over to the parrot.

Can't remember the chaps details, but he was listed on the parrot site as my local chappy - Matt I think he was called.

Been having a look at your forum so I decided to join. Long time landy man but only owned a Rangerover for the last 3 years. There seems to be a lot of discussion on the 05 L322 yes I have one. (You can stop laughing now)
Now I know there are a few threads on this but here goes as I am a bit slow when understanding things. Rolling with laughter
I have lived with this for a few years now but I suppose it is time to do something about this. What is the best option for upgrading this mix, match Ford/BMW/Landrover electronics system so that I can play my own music as the radio is also terrible. To be honest I no longer use the CD'S so could this just be changed in the glove box. Sorry to bore you with the same topic again Bow down
