Part number for the 6 CD cassette

Chaps,

What is the part number for the 6 CD cassette (holds the CD's and fits into the multi changer)

It's missing from mine and I want to source a replacement (if you have a spare, let me know)

I bought one from ebay - there's a chap on there who regularly has one up for sale for about £8

sorry, i meant to add a link but got distracted

the chap i bought one from (billdor400) doesn't have anything listed at the moment and I can't find any others on ebay at the moment - they do seem to come up fairly regularly

I am not sure exactly what make / model of CD player you have?

My 56reg TDV8 has a Clarion CD (mounted in upper glovebox - alongside venturecam)

The only 'part-number' I can see on the cd cartridge is clarion 6 DISC MAGAZINE CAA-397

Have they all had the same CD changer or were there variations?

I think there where several different types of CD Multi Disc Players on the Range Rover L322.

My old TD6 '05reg had the disc player mounted in the boot (if I remember correctly - it was a larger unit than the one I have now - I think it was an ALPINE unit which had a glass effect (clear plastic) CD cassette EJECT button which lit up when pressed)

As I mentioned already - my current car has a CLARION CD changer mounted in the upper glove box...

...I have seen a couple of Range Rovers with either SONY or PHILLIPS units - but these might have been after-market refit's

'02 - CD changer mounted in the glovebox. Sadly no markings on the front of the changer, I'd have to take it out to get the make.

I can take a photo tomorrow and post it up.

Duke, take a look in the Audio User manual if you still have it, it might tell you in there which make and what the part number for the cartridge is 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Or simply call a dealer parts desk, give them your VIN number and ask for the part number for the CD cartridge.....<simples> Land Rover Addict
