Samsung S3 Pairing

Surely I don't need to connect manually each time I switch the car on ?

Shocked Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

No - But you do need a BT module with a more up-to-date firmware tho

So the issue is at the car end, not the phone end ?

I'll drop Wiggs a note.

Thumbs Up Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Yea - mine did the same on my 07MY / SII until I 'upgraded' the BT module.

My stock 2007 TDV8 pairs with my S3 no problem. Don't forget to set the phone to auto connect in the BT settings when you first do the pairing. If it hasn't worked properly the fist time unpair and do it again. 2012 5.0L S/C

Apologies, the auto-connect must have been my previous phone. The S3 just works.... I'm using it most days without problems. 2012 5.0L S/C

I have just deleted the pairing, and re-connected...but still asks for code each time I get in the car....

Will take a closer look in the new year ! Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

That's strange. I suppose it's possible the previous owner of mine got the BT module fixed (I bought it in 2010) but I know he was not technical and there was nothing in the service record to suggest the dealer did it. Maybe Wiggs is the best way after all but good luck either way! All the best... 2012 5.0L S/C

Its a simple job to do - anyone who can use a screwdriver is capable of doing this mod.

I'm guessing your phonebook probably inst transferring to the car either?
