Bluetooth phone connection

Does anyone know where the microphone (used when making hands-free calls via bluetooth) is located? Question

The calls made from the car always sound muffled, so it would be helpful to know in which direction to shout !

Thanks,

Paul.

I thought the same.

It's the black section with a vent just in front of the interior lights/rear view mirror isn't it.

in the 05MY onwards it is in the vented plate in the centre. The one that in the picture above has 2 switches. Just pop it off gently the a credit card and it is clipped onto the plate. On the back of the plate you will see some notches and arrows to align the microphone for LHD/RHD. I believe the microphone is directional so that may be you problem.
